Week 2

There are 5 main missions in the second week, they unlock at different times.

All missions share the fact that they have:

a reward chest goal, that is an activity performed by the whole warzone to accumulate points to unlock the reward chest. Once this goal is completed the mission goal is unlocked (unless specified otherwise)
a mission goal that is the expected outcome and progression in the game (some of them are paired with a season event of the season)

Week2-01: Railroad Tycoon

This mission will start day 1 of Week2.
Both reward chest and mission goals are immediately available.

Mission goal

This event unlocks the Wasteland Trade feature in the Season 5.

Wasteland Trade event will allow you to sell Whiskey for CrystalGold and plunder whiskey of other players.

During week 2 you will be able to consign your Whiskey barrels only at the standard price, during week 3 the Premium Sale features will be available and you can determine the price at which you want to sell Whiskey.

First of all you will see the train, a.k.a. The Fortune, on the map:

Clicking on the scale symbol on the train or on the “Wasteland Trade” tile in the Season 5 menu you will be directed to the Wasteland Trade event page.

From here you can see the status of the train, how many whiskey barrels it is transporting and you can access:

The availability of features of the train depends on where the train is, in this picture you can see that since the train has arrived at the terminal it is not possible to plunder or consign.

Plunder Train

Plundering a train is quite easy.
Once you enter the plunder page you need to select your opponent and hit Plunder. You can see the lootable amount (you can protect some of your whiskey with a seasonal skill) of each opponent:

Each refresh will select 3 targets from the train for plunder. After a successful plunder, the list will refresh.
Each plunder seizes 10% of the consignor’s total goods.
Once 50% of the original consigned goods have been plundered, it will no longer appear on the target list.
Defense teams do not recover HP after being attacked until the train reaches the next station.
Defeated defense teams will recover full HP once the train reaches the next station.
Unused plunder attempts will accumulate across days, up to a maximum of 7 attempts.

The plunder challenge will start and if you are successful you get whiskey barrels as rewards.

You have 3 attempts to refresh opponents, and once your 3 free attempts are used you will need to pay CrystalGolds to change opponents.

My Trades/Trade Records

In My trades you will be able to see the history of your trades, the goods carried and how much you earned from them. Clicking on the i you can also see details if someone plundered your goods.

Consign

Let’s now discuss the main feature of Wasteland Train, the possibility to sell your Whiskey and earn CrystalGold.

Base Rules:

When you load (consign) goods, the next station decides whether to buy them.
If the station does not buy them, the goods will be returned to you.
Each station has:
- A maximum amount it can buy.
- A rule: it buys from lowest price to highest until it hits its limit.
Goods that stay on the train longer have a higher chance of being plundered.

Premium Sale feature and strategy:

Goal: Make the highest profit per item.
How it works: Set a high selling price and try to sell as much as possible starting Week 3.

Pros:

Big profit if the station buys your items.

Cons:

High risk of items not selling → they return and pile up.
More goods = bigger losses if plundered.
Might later be forced to drop prices to clear inventory.

Use when: You want maximum profit and can monitor stations carefully.

IMPORTANT: The number of goods that can be consigned each day is 100. Unsold goods do not count towards the daily consignment limit. Unused daily consignment capacity will accumulate, up to a maximum of 1500.

Premium sales allows you to define your own price as we explained before. Use the Trade Logs to identify each station’s planned purchases quantity and historical transaction prices. Use the premium sales feature to sell at higher prices in stations with higher purchase limits to maximize the profit and possibility of selling goods.
