Week 5

There are 2 missions in the fifth week, they unlock at different times.

All missions share the fact that they have:

  • a reward chest goal, that is an activity performed by the whole warzone to accumulate points to unlock the reward chest. Once this goal is completed the mission goal is unlocked (unless specified otherwise)
  • a mission goal that is the expected outcome and progression in the game (some of them are paired with a season event of the season)

Week5-01: Cold Wave Alert (Min Temp: -90°C )

This mission will start day 1 of Week5 and it will last for 7 days
Both reward chest and mission goals are immediately available.

Mission goal

Cold waves are coming, this is the same event of week 1: Cold Wave Alert (Min Temp: -20), but blizzards reach level X with -70 °C.

Reward chest goal

All warzones work together to warm up allies up to 10000 times

Week5-02: Turn on Nuclear Furnace

This mission will start day 1 of Week5 and it will last for 7 days.

The reward chest goal is immediately available, the mission goal is delayed by 3 days.

Mission goal

The Nuclear Furnace has been captured, waking Glacieradon from its deep underground sleep. Glacieradon is a major threat to the Furnace – kill it and restart the Furnace!

Goals
  • Send troops to the Nuclear Furnace (the capitol) to reactivate it.
Each time you send troops it costs 5 stamina. The whole warzone needs to help as this is a very difficult task to bring reactivation to 100%
  • Send your strongest troops to attack and kill the Glacieradons when they are not moving and attacking a city. Only 5 attacks per day per server, make them count (10 stamina points per attack). Reinforcing the city that gets attacked is also useful to lower the HP of the Glacieradon.
The sooner you kill the Glacieradons the better it is, as they periodically decrease the Nuclear Furnace reactivation percentage
  • You can go in other servers and help them with their Glacieradons and with their Furnace activation.

The attacks will start on Thursday at reset (week 5+72 hours)

Reactivate Furnace

Send your troops to the Nuclear Furnace to help with the re-activation, once the progress reaches 100% the goal is reached.
To send your troops click on the Nuclear Furnace and then on the green truck, select your squad and confirm. Every time you send troops to the nuclear furnace it will cost 5 stamina point.
You can send your troops up to 10 times a day. You can see how many times you can still send troops in the Event Page in the Warzone Info section , right under the progress bar of the activation, as show here in this picture.

Glacieradons periodically reduce Furnace’s activation progress (~1% every 4 hours) so you need to hurry up.

Click on the green truck to send troops

Nuclear Furnace Progress

You can also go to the other warzones that are activating their Nuclear Furnace and help them sending troops. For each warzone there is a daily limit of 10 times to send troops

Kill the Glacieradon

Glacieradons appear at the corner of the map. You can locate them going in the Beast Tracks tab in the Reactivate the Nuclear Furnace event page. There you can see all the Beasts and their HP. Click on them to get to their current location.

When a Glacieradon is on the move you cannot attack it, in the Beast Tracks section you will see the text “Unable to attack”. There you can see also a countdown for when it will hit a city.

Once a Glacieradon reaches a city it will start its attack. In this moment you are able to attack it, in the Beasts Track section you will see the button “Go to Attack”.

You have only 5 hits per day (per warzone), so use your best squads.

If a city is owned by an alliance and the Glacieradon is able to destroy the defense and capture the city, then the alliance loses the city that becomes neutral and a protection status is applied.

Reinforcing the city that is attacked by the Glacieradon causes damage to the Glacieradon, so make sure your alliance reinforces the city that is going to be attacked because only 5 hits per day per person are usually not enough to kill these beasts.

Here you can see how the Glacieradon looks like when it reached a city and becomes attackable

The Beast Tracks will show when a Glacieradon was killed and the Alliance that gave the last hit.

Event Rules:

  • There are 4 Glacieradons, each day after the event begins, one Glacieradon will appear. They come from the four corners of the map and moving through cities toward the Nuclear Furnace.
  • Glacieradon cannot be attacked while on the move. If it crosses cities held by commanders, it will stop and attack the city, allowing commanders to fight back.
  • When Glacieradon attacks a city, Alliance members of that city can send troops to defend. Successfully defending against Glacieradon’s attack will keep the city safe from damage.
  • Daily attacks on Glacieradon are limited and reset at 00:00 server time.
  • Defending Glacieradon’s attack against cities won’t reduce its HP.
  • Glacieradon will gradually reduce Furnace’s activation progress over time (~1% every 4 hours). Once fully activated, Glacieradon can no longer interfere with the process.
  • Commanders in the same faction can help each other attack Glacieradon in their warzones, or assist in activating each other’s furnace to speed up the process.
  • When the faction successfully activates the furnace and defeats Glacieradon, rewards can be collected from the event page.

Below a video of the event

IMPORTANT: the interface is slightly different because this was recorded in server 22 the first time the event happened, now it changed a bit, soon a new video will be available.

In this video you can see the event details page where for server #22 there is still 1 Glacieradon alive.
The reactivation of the Nuclear Furnace is in progress with the whole warzone sending troops.

In the meantime the Glacieradon is progressing and attacking cities and it can be attacked in this moment.

Rewards

There are 2 types of rewards:

  • Individual rewards, for participating in the Nuclear Furnace reactivation
  • Faction Rewards, for killing Glacieradons and completing Nuclear Furnace reactivations.

Reward chest goal

All warzones work together to donate 1000000 Coal to Alliance Furnace
