Resources and where to find them
There are many types of resources in this game, and some are rare.
Here an initial outline on where to find some:
Golden shards (generic ones) 
Hero specific shards are won opening golden tickets for hero recruits, the following list is regarding generic golden shards:
- Secret Missions: up to 7 daily (if you are lucky with refresh)
- VIP Program (Freebie chest):
- Level 10 or 11: 1 daily
- Level 12 or 13: 2 daily
- Level 14+: 3 daily
- Trucks
- Dispatch trucks: up to 2/3 per truck => so up to 8/12 daily if lucky (based on 4 trucks)
- Plunder trucks: up to 2/3 per truck => so up to 8/12 daily if lucky (based on 4 trucks and luck)
- Train: up to 4 daily based on refresh luck
- Arms Race
- Golden chest (18 today’s goals): 2 daily
- First position in daily ranking: 1 daily
- Duel VS
- 3.6 m chest: 1 daily
- 7.2 m chest: 1 daily
- Stores
- Alliance Store: 5 weekly
- Campaign Store: 10 weekly
- Honor Store: 10 monthly

Diamonds 
Diamonds are the most valuable type of resource and cannot be generated; they can only be won as prizes or purchased. Unlike food, iron, or gold, diamonds cannot be stolen by attacking enemies.

- Tasks: up to 110 daily
- Mall
- Daily sale freebie chest: 10
- Weekly pass free supply chest: 10

- Individual rewards: based on your level (up to 3 times a week)
- Wanted monsters
- Frenzied Butcher: both for hits and goals (Mondays and Thursdays)

- Based on level and won challenges

- Gold Tier Reward: 500 (weekly defeat) or 1000 (weekly victory) weekly

Inventory
When you win chests or resource rewards, they are stored in your inventory. From there, once opened, they are added to the corresponding resource meters.
IMPORTANT: It’s advisable to keep resources in the inventory until needed. During enemy attacks resulting in loss, part of these resources may be taken by the attacker.

Hi, you just need to leave those missions with red dots there and wait for new missions to arrive. You will see your 0/35 go up to 10/35 for example, it depends on your current radar level.

Yes you can change the type of truck. When you are in the truck section and click on the + to send a truck you will see a display of the items it will contain. In that page there is a dice on the upper right corner that allows you to change the truck content and type. First change is free, the other can be done using “Trade contract” items (that you can buy in Diamond store)
When should you upgrade your HQ? I am at HQ15, and have most of my buildings upgraded, but my heroes and tech is not maxed yet. Are there any guidelines on optimal time to start?
You have to take into account the fact that the HQ limits many things, the most important ones are the max hero level and the max level other buildings can be leveled up to. Therefore the HQ limits also the barracks, that limit the troop level you can train. My suggestion, if you are a free to play would be to reach immediately HQ17 so to be able to unlock T6 soldiers. Then accumulate resources and once you have enough do these “jumps” 17->20->24->27. I prefer to upgrade HQ immediately as soon as I can because I am free to play so I need my max hero level to be unlocked fast.
After that, you may choose to utilize the Repair function, which is the bread and butter feature of the software. This option seeks to recover the data on your CD or DVD, without needing you to configure anything.

I got a pop up that informed me that I had reached my award limit for kills. Will that limit grow with my HQ? If it does change, what are the levels or prerequisites to its expansion?
Also, why do you lose stamina when you win a battle? If anything, you should gain it or at least use it as an ante: win, you get it back; lose you lose it? Or, at least throw a rod, equal or better, into the loot for each encounter.
There are limits that are the same for each HQ level: reward limits on daily doom elite rallies you join, amount of resources you can plunder (after 6 daily hits the amount you plunder goes to 15% and later on to 5% if you persist). They are made to avoid people to build up resources only in one way. The other question you should ask the developers on official discord, I don’t know why they implemented it that way 🙂

No guide about secret tasks yet. It’s not possible to loot them before timer expires, and when it does you need to be super fast.
