Week 2
There are 4 missions in the second week, they unlock at different times.
Additionally the event Level EXP starts at day one even if it is not listed in the weekly events.
All missions share the fact that they have:
- a reward chest goal, that is an activity performed by the whole warzone to accumulate points to unlock the reward chest. Once this goal is completed the mission goal is unlocked
- a mission goal that is the expected outcome and progression in the game (some of them are paired with a season event of the season as described in this link )
Week2-01: Hero Promotion
This mission will start day 1 of Week2.
The main event lasts 42 days.
Both reward chest and mission goals are immediately available.
Mission goal
Mason will get his Ironclad Vehicle and be promoted to a Legendary 
Hero!
IMPORTANT: I received confirmation that you can upgrade Mason also in Season 2 in newer servers
You will have 42 days to promote him to UR.
It is important to understand the rules of how this upgrade happens, to make sure you are aware of pros and cons.
Before upgrading Mason check out this trick to maximize Duel VS points with Mason upgrade.
Upgrade:
- To perform the upgrade you need to own the Legendary Hero Badge item
- Mason must be a 5 ⭐️ to undergo the promotion to UR
- With the upgrade :
- Mason will be reset to 3 ⭐️
- all skills will be reset to level 1 (there will be new skills after upgrade, check paragraph below)
- hero level will not change (the one gained via EXP)
- you will lose the current buffs of Mason Wall of Fame level
Refunds:
- Shards used to bring Mason to 5 ⭐️:
- ❌ NO shards used to bring Mason to 5 ⭐️ will be refunded.
- Shards used on Mason on Wall of Honor Promotion:
- ✅ ALL shards used on wall of honor for Mason ( universal
and mason shard 
) will be refunded and sent to mail BUT they will all be converted to Mason Shards in the refund
- ✅ ALL shards used on wall of honor for Mason ( universal
- Skill medals:
- ✅ ALL Skill medals spent previously on Mason’s skills will be refunded and sent to mail.
Promotion after upgrade:
- It will be possible to promote Mason’s ⭐️ with:
- Universal SSR shards
- Mason specific shard
- BUT the cost will double in shards (1600 total shards to bring him back to 5⭐️, starting from 3 ⭐️)
- Universal SSR shards
The most important things, you will see also in the video below:
- Skills are reset but you get refunded the skill medals so you can re-allocate them on the skills you want (or even on other heroes). Note that skill medals spent on SSR hero is 90% of the skill medal cost of a UR hero, so if you had SSR mason at a certain skill level (say 20-20-20), that may not be enough to bring the UR mason to the same skill levels.
- Power and all attributes (except command) will get much lower than it was before. Below the video and the comparison

IMPORTANT: There is a glitch in the game that after the upgrade will show you for a while the old attributes of Mason instead of the new ones. I edited the video to show the correct ones.
ATTENTION: In the video you will see Mason go back to 0 ⭐️ after upgrade, but with the latest game update done at the 5th June 2024 you actually get Mason to 3 ⭐️ after upgrade, I couldn’t do an updated video as I already had upgraded him before the rule change.
In the video you will see:
- I removed gear to avoid them affecting attribute count and have a clear view of the upgrade
- I was refunded 530 Mason shards because I had level 53 on honor wall (1 level = 10 shards)
- You see Mason go to 0 ⭐️ but with the latest game update (5th June 2024) you actually get him back as 3 ⭐️ (nothing else changes in the rules).

Take into consideration that in these images you will see:
- in before Mason is
and 5 ⭐️ and in my wall of fame level 35 and - in after he is and 0 ⭐️ and wall of fame level 0.
New Skills
Reward chest goal
All warzones work together to donate mutant crystals to unlock important rewards containing the 2 new precious resources: immune protein 
and mutant crystals 
.
Additional event: Level Swap EXP
This event will start day 1 of Week2. The main event lasts 42 days.
It is not listed in the weekly missions and it can be seen as a concurrent event instead. It is accessible click on the Season 1 icon
You can select 2 heroes that will swap their EXP level.
Swapping levels may lock skills unlocked by the level, increasing hero level can restore skill levels.
IMPORTANT: this does not switch the ⭐️ but only the hero EXP level. So in the example Tesla will become Level 143 but he will remain with only a fraction of a ⭐️, and Scarlett will become Level 1 but with 4 + 1/5⭐️.
Week2-02: Crimson Legion
This mission will start day 2 of Week2. The main event lasts 18 days.
Both reward chest and mission goals are immediately available.
Mission goal
The Queen furiously commands the Crimson Legion to strike back hard!
The mission starts right away but the actual attack from the Crimson Legion is delayed as shown by the countdown on the bottom of the event page.
After the event starts, on Tuesday and Fridays each week, the Crimson Legion will counterattack Alliance Cities.
The Crimson Legion can attack Cities regardless of their protection status.
The Crimson Legion will announce its attack targets before the counterattack, allowing Alliance members to prepare in advance.
Successfully defending against the Crimson Legion’s attacks will earn the Alliance rewards. The more waves defended, the better the rewards.
If defense fails, the Crimson Legion will damage the City. If a City’s durability drops to zero, the City will be considered lost and revert to the control of the Crimson Legion.
The first time the Crimson Legion attacks should be day 2 of Week 2 on Tuesday.
Declaration of war
Once the countdown of Crimson Legion preparing to attack the Alliance City reaches 0, you will see the city on which war was declared on and in how much time the Crimson Legion will hit (12 hours delay).
Defending the city
The Crimson Legion will attack in waves, 30 waves with increasing power and with delay of 1 minute each. The whole attack lasts more than 30 minutes.
The army will start from a city that is still under control of the Crimson Queen and they will travel to meet your city and attack. To defend the city send reinforcements, up to 20 people can reinforce.
At each new Crimson Legion event the power will increase.
This is the power on the second attack (day 5 of week 2).

The video is edited to show the most important part. The attack lasts more than 30 minutes in total.
If Crimson legions wins the City goes back to being under their control and a protection status of 7 days starts on the city.
Rewards
The more wave your alliance endures the more rewards you can claim, regardless if you participated directly in the reinforcements.

All warzones work together to capture 10 lvl 2 cities .
Week2-03: City Unlock (Level 3)
This mission will start day 3 of Week2.
The reward chest goal is immediately available, the mission goal is delayed by 24 hours.
Mission goal
The structure of this mission is similar to the other City Unlocks events, with the difference that now the capture of the Military Strongholds is used for the reward chest goal and this will be available right away at this mission start, while the main goal of the mission is to capture Level 3 cities, and this part is delayed by 1 days (so at day 4 of Week2)

Week2-04: City Unlock (Level 4)
This mission will start day 4 of Week2.
The reward chest goal is immediately available, the mission goal is delayed by 3 days
Mission goal
The structure of this mission is similar to the other City Unlocks events, with the difference that now the capture of the City Level 3 is used for the reward chest goal and this will be available right away at this mission start, while the main goal of the mission is to capture Level 4 cities, and this part is delayed by 3 days (so at day 7 of Week2)

You have the whole Season 1 to upgrade Mason, you don’t need to do it only week 2, there is the count down in Season 1 page for the Mason upgrade tile. In Season 2 you can upgrade Violet but there is no possibility to upgrade Mason any more.
