Introduction
The Alliance Duel VS is a challenge against an alliance from another server (or from the same server at lower levels). Spanning 6 days from Monday to Saturday, each day features a unique challenge where participants engage in activities to accumulate daily points, contributing to victory points.
Emerging victorious in daily challenges earns not only daily rewards but also culminates in final rewards. Additionally, individual performance during this challenge grants access to chests containing rewards and Valor badges.
These badges facilitate research development aimed at enhancing rewards and points for the Alliance Duel VS, obtainable solely through chest victories in the competition or purchase with cash.
Subsequent messages will delve into the specifics of each day. Note that the points awarded for each activity may vary slightly based on researches you conducted in the Technology Center’s “Alliance Duel” section.
To optimize rewards, it’s crucial to synchronize Alliance Duel VS actions with corresponding phases of the Arms Race. Avoid the urge to execute all actions at the Alliance Duel VS daily reset; each day will specify overlapping Arms Race phases.
ATTENTION: During server reset, for 5 minutes points are not awarded, first make sure the new duels vs day started going to the event detail page and only after that start doing the activities.

Winning points structure
Following the variable points structure outlined below, it’s essential to employ a strategic approach to secure victory match by match, rather than risking the outcome solely on the final day, where the strongest adversary may likely dominate.
Winning strategy
Securing victory in the Alliance Duel VS necessitates meticulous planning of moves and timely execution of activities. Certain days even allow for advance preparation, as elaborated in the subsequent sections.
Activity timing
Here is a schedule detailing the optimal timing for various actions to maximize points in both the duel and the arms race.

Strategic Preparation
Certain activities grant points upon completion, enabling you to initiate them the day before they are required and finish them during their respective phase to maximize points:
- For the days in which radar mission are rewarded, stack the missions to the maximum the day before
- For the days in which gathering food/iron/gold reward points, start the gathering the day before making sure it will end in the new day (before starting the gathering it indicates how much it will take)
- During the days when upgrading buildings rewards points based on their power increase, it’s beneficial to upgrade numerous buildings beforehand in previous days and leave them in a state of gift wrapping. This is because building power is only boosted upon opening the gift package and also duel vs points are given at that moment.
- For days in which research rewards point start a long research the day(s) before so that the research ends in those days. The points are rewarded when clicking on the completed research icon.
- Don’t open Drone Data Chip and Components chest when they are in inventory, as in day 1 and 3 those activities make you gain points.
Enemy Buster preparation
The last day of the duel rewards points for killing troops of your opponents, so it is important to prepare for this day.
Offense preparation
- During the week try to upgrade barracks to the highest level possible to unlock training of higher level troops
- Train as many troops as you can, as you will need them during the war. The best would be to use your training speed ups during Day 5: Total Mobilization to maximize points.
- Buy training speed ups and healing speed ups
Defense preparation
- Buy shields (or spare resources to buy them) to use for the 24 hours of the last day. (Else you will need 1500 diamonds for 8-hour shield!!!)
- Remove troops from your defense lineup, so that even if you get hit you will lose a small amount of troops compared to how much you lose if you have defense up and get defeated: go in your base, click on the wall, click on , remove the checks on the squads to remove them from the defense lineup.
Rewards
Each required activity during the duel earns you a designated number of points. You can enhance this point yield by conducting research in the “Alliance Duel” section. However, conducting such researches necessitates the use of Valor badges, which, in turn, can only be acquired by opening chests in the duel.
Reward types
There are available 3 types of rewards in these event:
- Daily individual reward chests (some of which must be unlocked with researches to be available)
- Daily individual ranking rewards
- Daily Victory rewards (alliance)
- Weekly Tier Rewards for both victory and defeat
All rewards are based on the actual age of the server you are playing in, so don’t expect the pictures below to show the accurate rewards.

The first time the Alliance Duel VS occur on your server you will be limited to 3 chest you can open if you reach the appropriate amount of points. To unlock other chests you need to do the corresponding researchs.

Daily individual ranking rewards
Based on the individual points made, a ranking with players of both fighting alliance will decide who earns these rewards.
Daily Victory rewards (alliance)
At the end of each day, other than receiving the victory points, the winning alliance members received the Daily Victory Rewards
Weekly Tier Rewards for both victory and defeat
At the end of the Alliance Duel week the following rewards are given to the alliances.
Alliance Duel Research
To accumulate a substantial number of points, allowing you to unlock chests and compete for victory in the daily duel, you can engage in Alliance Duel Researches.
These researches can unlock additional chests (only 3 are available at the beginning, then 2 researches unlock 3 additional chests each), and can increase the point for the activities.
It will take a while to bring up the percentage of those researches as they require Valor badges that can be won only through the Duel reward chest.
A good strategy is to use the Valor badges immediately after opening the chests, sparing some of the activities for which you will first increase the point boost in the same day.

Day 1: Radar Training
Task list
- Complete 1 radar task (~25,000 points):
Go to the radar symbol in the bottom left and enter the radar screen. Here you will see missions, some already completed (with a red dot at the top right) , others still to be completed. To complete a mission you must first execute it (if not already executed) and then click on the mission with the red dot, with this action you collect it and get the points. To maximize points consider stacking missions the day before as explained in this radar guide - Use 1 stamina (~300 points):
Use stamina to make attacks, rallies and to perform radar missions. - Use at least 660 Hero EXP points at a time (~6 points):
Use experience points, i.e. use the “Upgrade” button after selecting a hero - Use 10 Drone Combat Data points :
Go to the Drone Center and click the Data Training button to use battle data. At certain levels it is necessary to have drone parts in order to proceed with training. - Use 1 Drone Part:
Go to the Drone Center and click the Data Training button to use battle data. At certain levels drone parts will be used. - Gather 100/100/60 units of food/iron/coins (~40 points):
Enter map mode, click on the magnifying glass, click on collect, select “Farmland”/”Iron Mine”/”Gold Mine” and find one to send your troops to for gathering
The points are awarded when the troops leave the collection point because the resources to be extracted have run out or because the troops have been recalled. Therefore, consider starting the collection the day before the start of this day making sure that the final collection time is after the start of this day.
- For every Chip Chest you open, you’ll get Premium chip material x1 (~2000 points):
Receive points for when you open Drone Data Chip chests from inventory (to not be confused with Drone Component chests). This is available only starting from day 85 of the server when drone skill chip unlocks. With the revamp of the Drone Skill system you also gain a Premmium chip material for each opened chest.
Overlap with arms race
There are 2 overlaps, I recommend carrying out the activities during the respective phases:
Drone Boost Phase :
- Use 1 stamina
- Use 10 Drone Combat Data points
Hero Advancement Phase :
- Use 2000 EXP points
Day 2: Base Expansion
Task list
- Use 1-min Construction Speedup (~120 points):
Use construction speedups (generic ones are fine too, any length). - Increases building power by 1 point (~21 points):
Every time you complete a building, that building will have increased its power and you get points for that difference. Note that the building’s strength increase only occurs when you open the gift box in which the newly upgraded building is packaged. - Dispatch Legendary Trade Truck 1 Time (~200,000 points):
Trade trucks can be of different types, and consequently have different rewards inside. You can change their content using the Trade Contract . To use them go to the section to send a truck, and when you preview their contents in the top right there is a button with a dice. To get the “Legendary” version you have to update many times until you get the yellow background and the UR writing on the left. - Perform 1 Legendary Secret Task (~150,000 points):
Activities of different types and levels are found in the secret mobile squad. Use the “Refresh” button below to change the current missions (consuming 1 secret order item ) to find the ones with the yellow/gold square and start them. If you keep secret order items during the week, you can launch all legendary missions on this day. - Recruit survivor 1 time (~3,000 points):
Use the golden survivor recruit tickets (they differ from the golden hero recruit tickets ) you find in the heroes section, “Recruit Heroes” button and then go to “Recruit Survivors” section. Accumulate recruit survivor tickets during the whole week and use them only in this day.
Overlap with arms race
The following activities overlap with the City Building phase of the Arms Race, I recommend performing these activities during that phase.

- Increases building power by 1 point
Day 3: Age of Science
Task list

Technological Power points are obtained when you click on the completed research icon on the Technological Center. To maximize points start a long research the day(s) so that the research ends this day, or anyway complete it clicking on the completed research icon only in this day. - Use 1 Valor badge (~600 points):
Go to the research center, go to the “Allied Duel” section, start one of these searches that consume valor badge (they are the blue medals in the center, golden on the outside and with the bottom bow that can be won in the duel chests) - For each Lvl 1/2/3/4/5/6/7 Drone Component Chest opened :
Receive points for when you open Drone Component chests from inventory (to not be confused with Drone Data Chip chests).
Overlap with arms race
The following activities overlap with the Tech Research phase of the Arms Race, I recommend performing these activities during that phase.

Day 4: Train Heroes
Task list
- Elite Recruit 1 time (~3,750 points):
Use the Legendary Recruitment Tickets in the heroes section to recruit heroes (to not be confused with recruit survivor). Accumulate recruit hero tickets during the whole week and use them only in this day.

Use experience points, i.e. use the “Upgrade” button after selecting a hero - Use 1 legendary/epic/rare shard (~20,000/7,000/2,000 points):
Use the golden/purple/blue shard (puzzle pieces) of the heroes to increase their level in the heroes section, click on a hero, go to the class section and update the hero class.
This other part is available starting from Season 1 – The Crimson Plague:
if you upgraded Mason to UR, using Universal SSR shards and Mason specific shards to upgrade him will give you same points as golden shards. - Use 1 skill medal (~20 points):
Improve the heroes’ skills, go to the heroes section, choose a hero, click on the “skills” section, select one of the skills (the squares) above and use the “Strengthen” button (not it is always possible to do this) - For every Exclusive Weapon shard used (~20,000 points):

- Train a level 1/2/3/4/5/6/7/8/9/10 soldier ( ~46/70/93/117/140/164/197/211/234/258 points):
The points they are given based on a soldier’s arrival level. So upgrading a lvl 4 to a lvl 5 gives you the points of a lvl 5 in the same way as training a lvl 5 from scratch. So prepare many intermediate level soldiers to upgrade as an assembly line

City Building Phase :
- Use 1 min Construction speedup

Day 6: Enemy Buster
This day is very important for several reasons:
- Allows you to obtain 4 victory points in the duel
- To get a lot of points you have to kill opposing troops so you have to expect enemy incursions into the base. It is essential that low level bases have their shield active for the entire 24 hours of the fight.
In any case it is advisable to remove the defenses from the walls, so that if you are attacked by strong opponents you do not lose your troops.

Use healing accelerators. - Every Lv. 1/2/3/4/5/6/7/8/9/10 Unit killed from rival Alliance (~25/38/50/63/75/88/100/113/125/138 points ):
These points are rewarded for each time you kill a soldier from your opponent alliance in duel VS. Use the teleport (Duel VS icon -> Alliance assaults -> Attack) to go to your opponent’s server and kill as many soldiers as you can attacking bases of your opponent alliance.
With the latest update of the games you will receive also points for Drill ground units killed even when you have no defense set. To see if you actually killed some soldiers from drill ground open the battle report, go in the statistics tab and there will be a notice below the soldiers count. - Every Lv. 1/2/3/4/5/6/7/8/9/10 Unit killed (~5/8/10/13/15/18/20/23/25/28 points):
These points are rewarded for each time you kill a soldier from any other alliance of a different server except your opponent alliance in duel VS, for which the points in the section above apply. It is better to always try to kill soldiers from you opponent duel vs alliance as it grants x5 times points, but if they are shielded or without troops killing any other alliance on that server works too, it will just take more time and hits to do the same amount of points. - Each Lv. 1/2/3/4/5/6/7/8/9/10 unit lost (~6/8/10/12/14/16/18/20 points):
Either you are attacking or defending each time one of your soldier gets killed you earn this amount of points. If you are at the end of a duel VS and you need to score some points to open chests and your alliances is winning the match by far than consider sacrificing some of your troops attacking higher level HQ if only those are available so to lose units and earn points.

Are you sure? I was told that if you burn your opponent to the ground and he has soldiers in the hospital you will get points as well.
Hi, thanks for making me notice this. It was like that months ago, recently I saw that something changed and indeed you get points even for soldiers that are idle in the drill ground when there is a breach. I will fix it.

just wondering about shields . i thought it would come back on 15 minutes after war fever . but it is gone for good . i need to buy a whole new one any info on that ? thanks
Once you break the shield it is gone. Consider that even scouting breaks it. The game will show an alert when you do something that is going to break the shield asking you if you want to proceed or not.

Mods on discord confirmed that removing decorations and gears will not help to have a better matchmaking for duel vs or any other matchmaking.
