There are some easy actions you can do to earn more resources or to grow faster, this page will be updated constantly adding all those little tricks.

Resources – Increase % coin/food/iron rewards when killing zombies

The hero Monica, even if not really strong, has a really nice skill called Treasure Hunter:

So use the squad with Monica when you kill those zombies to gain at least 39% more resources.

Resources – Gather resources with low amount of troops

When you have a low amount of troops available in your drill grounds (for example after the wars on saturday), you might not be able to send all squads to gather resources since each squad needs a certain amount of troops to be deployed.

This can be solved in the following way:

• Recall your squads to the base so that you can change them
• Remove all heroes from each squad and add only 1 hero for each squad, possibly those that have a low value in the attribute “comand”
• Now send squads to gather, each squad will use a much lower amount of troops so you will be able to send all of them.

Additionally, you can just train level 1 soldiers with any barracks to have almost immediately some troops available, as training level 1 soldiers is fast.

Hot Deals- Bullseye Loot / Ammo Bonanza – Obtain high level rewards stacking Ammo

I guess you are quite familiar with the event Bullseye Loot and Ammo Bonanza:

• You earn Ammo with Ammo Bonanza tasks or buying packs
• You use Ammo in Bullseye Loot to find your selected rewards.
• Every time you find the selected reward your Bullseye Loot level increases, multiple ammo might be needed to complete a single level.
• There is a super prize every five levels, commanders can win prizes up to 100 levels during the event period.

If you look at the rewards you can win at higher level you can see that it makes sense, if you don’t have an immediate need of resources, to stack ammo. In fact ammo will be stored in your inventory if you don’t use it during the current event. One you have a huge amount (calculate an average of 4-5 ammo per level at least), then you can spend all the ammo in the same event to reach the level rewards.

Zombie Invasion – Loot other warzones for gold

Zombie Invasion is for sure one of the most profitable events for gold.
But if you are in Season 1 or 2, you don’t need the event to happen on your warzone to actually benefit from it.
If you are in Season 1 or 2, and if warzone teleporting is enabled for you to go on different warzones, you can explore other warzones to identify in which Zombie Invasion is currently running, teleport there and kill the Zombies with Gold. You will also collect courage medals that will be stored in your inventory.

PRO TIP:
Bring along at least another ally, teleport to warzone where Zombie Invasion is running and kill their Zombie Bosses with rallies (possible only after the 10 minute protection during which only the finder alliance can kill them).

Daily – 90 diamonds

Go to Arena (not immediately available when starting the game) -> 3v3 Brawl -> click 3 times on any thumbs up icon, each click is 30 diamonds. Works once every day.

Daily Tasks diamond rewards – Up to 30 diamonds

Even if you already received all Daily Tasks rewards opening the 5 chests execute these actions to receive the 10 diamonds for each, if not already executed:

• Recruit Heroes 1 Time
• Attack Commanders 1 Time (best to attack those without alliance to avoid revenge)
• Plunder others’ Epic or Legendary Secret Task 1 Time

Hospital and healing soldiers – Quicker healing using Alliance help

When you have soldiers that need healing, and the total amount of time needed to heal them all is long, you can take advantage of the alliance help with a staggered healing

To use this trick:

• Identify number of alliance help you can receive
• Start healing with total amount of healing time up to the number of alliance helps you can receive
• Click on the shaking hands that appears on the hospital to request alliance help

Alliance help is sent by all members of alliance clicking on icon of the shaking hands when it appears:

The game states: Each assistance boosts the current progress by 0.5%, with at least 1 minute of progress time. So try increasing the healing time each time until you find the maximum value that works for you.

To see how many helps you received for each healing (and also for each building construction) go to Alliance -> Helps:

If you wait a couple of seconds in this page it will tell you to how many minutes those 4 helps equal.

Note: It’s best to use this trick when many of your alliance members are online so that they can send you help. Best moment is during Alliance Exercise or other events

Barrack and troops during Arms Race and Duel VS – up to x4 points for soldier training

There is a well known trick on how to obtain many more points (even up to 4 times) for soldier training using the same amount of time and resources.

This trick is useful when you need to earn points in Arms Race: Unit Progression and Duel VS: Day 5: Total Mobilization

Barracks and troops unit train cap – Higher unit train cap

Each barrack has a cap on how many units can start training at once.
Sometimes having a bigger cap helps to score just a couple more points that during Unit Progress of Arms Race and Duel VS are very helpful.

• Click on the barrack, click on the survivor list icon
• Now add (or replace) one by one each survivor with the first one of the list that opens up, so to have in this barrack the survivors with best additional unit cap %.
• If it says that it is already working in another building just say yes to dispatching it to the barrack you are enhancing
• Once the barrack is enhanced by the best survivors start the training with the enhanced unit train cap
• Now you can reposition the survivor as you want, as they have effect only before starting the training.

Defense enhancement – Increased % of damage

When you are defending, being it your base or a village you can take advantage of the War fever to have a 1% damage boost.

This boost automatically activates when you attack or explore a base but it will not activate when you are only defending.

To trigger the War fever you can do one of the following actions:

• Send a scout airplane to a base
• Start an attack or a rally against an enemy base (doing attack or rally against zombies will not work). You can also cancel the attack once the war fever started

You can see the status of war fever in the upper left part of the screen, right under the food/iron/coin/power meters. Clicking on the icon will show the countdown.

Repeat the trigger action to restart the countdown to 15 minutes whenever you want.

IMPORTANT: don’t use this trick while you have shield on because you will lose it.

Alliance Exercise – Increased % of damage

During the Alliance Exercise event this can be achieved in 2 ways:

1. Join rallies that are started by R4/R5 members of the alliance as they give additional % of damage. +2.5% (Normal R4) / +5% (R5 and R4 with role Warlord, Butler, Muse, Recruiter)
2. Right before the Alliance Exercise starts either scout or start attack (no need to actually complete it) towards another commander (one that is not of any alliance to avoid a war) to start War fever that boosts your damage by 1%. Remember to do this action again after 15 minutes since Alliance Exercise start to reset the counter.

IMPORTANT: don’t use this trick while you have shield on because you will lose it. So during war days (day 6 of duel VS for example) don’t use this trick.

World Boss – Increased % of damage

As already explained in other tricks you can use War Fever to increase damage, and it works also for World bosses.

Right before you attack the current World Boss Monster, scout a base (possibly one not part of an alliance to avoid a war) to receive a temporary (15 minutes) 1% damage increase. That small 1% might help you to reach rewards goal that else you will have to wait next week for to reach.

World Boss – Increase damage up to 17% using Mason’s skill

Mason (SSR Tank attack hero), has a special skill (bottom left one called Passive: Zombie Purge) that increases the back row damage by 17% (on skill level 17) in battle vs monsters.

So even if it seems strange, try to put Violet and Mason on your front row, and move Murphy to the back, move stronger gear cannon from Mason to Murphy and try hitting the World Boss Monsters.

Here an example on how it was more effective on the Frankenstein World Boss.

Operation Falcon/Special Ops – Free troops at highest level

At the start and as you play, avoid doing the Special Ops in Operation Falcon unless you really need more troops. These ops give you free troops based on how well you keep soldiers alive during the stage, and when you finish a Special Op you receive that amount with the troop level equal to the highest trainable level in your barracks. So, focus on upgrading your barracks as much as possible before trying to get free troops. In the troops guide you can find more information on how barracks and troop levels work.

Operation Falcon/Honorable Campaign – Farm levels EXP and resources

If you know that your squads are not strong enough to do the 2 next levels of Honorable Campaign just don’t start that level.

Instead swipe left to a previous level (that you already completed) that you know your squad should be able to win and start that. Important: Doing so you will be able to play only one level for that Mission category instead of 2, but at least you will complete all the stages and so farm many rewards. In time you will learn when to do so or when to proceed with new levels.

VIP Program – 1 hour bonus at new VIP level

Whenever you reach a new VIP level because you collected the right amount of VIP points (see the green progress bar on top of VIP screen), you will receive 1 hour free VIP time if you don’t have it already.

So at the beginning of the game, if you don’t have many diamonds and so you don’t have the VIP Program enabled, if you watch closely the progression of the VIP points you can purchase a little amount of VIP points to trigger the 1 hour bonus when you decide so that you are in control of when to use it.

Server wars teleporting – Teleport to a different server than Duel VS opponent during server war tournament

When your server is part of a server war (warzone duel), you can teleport to different servers than the one allowed by the Attack feature of the Duel VS.

Emergency Hospital – Restart cooldown timer without claiming rescued troops

The Emergency Hospital lets you rescue fainted troops that would otherwise be lost.
It has a lengthy 2-day cooldown between recoveries, but there’s a trick you can use when your drill grounds are full, and you’ve hit the limit of fainted troops.

• Wait until the emergency hospital is full
• Launch the recovery
• Don’t claim the troops, leave them “pending” for claim in the emergency hospital until you need them, your drill grounds are empty or if you know the new 2 day cooldown would expire.

This way, you won’t occupy space in your drill grounds, but the cooldown timer will still start, preventing any further delays for the next rescue. Unfortunately you can’t see the cooldown timer running until you claim the rescued troops, but it started in the background.

Once – 10 Legendary Recruitment Tickets

Go to world Chat and text “Happy2024”, you will immediately receive the rewards.
Don’t try any other code spamming the world chat, it will not work, only this one works and only once. (Starting from server 357 it seems to not be working any more)

Once – 300 diamonds changing to Japanese language

[This trick doesn’t work any more, leaving it for reference]

If you change the language of the game in Japanese you will receive by mail 300 diamonds.

This works right now(5th May 2024) but might stop working soon. (Please leave a comment on the bottom of this article if you tried and didn’t succeed). It is a compensation for a wrong description in the game.
