☀️ Season 3 – Golden Kingdom – Pre-Season events, Golden Realm

Season 3 is rolling out on servers now. Devs said: After S3 and the transfer surge event stabilize, we plan to have the subsequent servers enter the S3 pre-event approximately 6-7 weeks after the conclusion of S2.

Once you are in the Season 3 pre-season, the countdown will indicate when your server will enter the actual Season 3. You will notice that the countdown might not align with the server reset as every server can be scheduled at a different time. Usually once the countdown hits 0 it takes 10 to 30 minutes for Season 3 events to start.

The Story

Teaser

Dear Commanders, Season III: Golden Kingdom is about to begin! Gather your allies and embark on this fiery and dangerous journey!

This time, our journey will take us deep into the mysterious desert hinterland, the home of pyramids and pharaohs, but also hiding millennia-old curses and secrets. On this desolate yet mysterious land, the scorching sun bakes, the yellow sand fills the sky, and the cold of the night is bone-chilling and profound. What’s even more chilling is that giant sandworms are lurking in the depths of the desert, and the ancient mummy legion is waiting to awaken!

During the season, the desert overlord – Noah transforms into the new golden king. He controls the ancient Monument of the Dead, awakens the mummy army sleeping under the yellow sand, and leads the remnants of the Doom Legion to sweep the entire desert. The yellow sand fills the sky, the sandstorm devours everything, the oasis dries up, the supplies are cut off, and the entire Golden Kingdom falls into despair.

Scarlett seized the Monument of the Dead at a critical moment. Although she could not completely eliminate Noah’s power, her heroic action gave our army the ability to summon ‘Guardians‘. The Guardians will be the key to confronting the mummies, our mission is to lead the Guardian Legion, to fight against Noah’s mummy army, to break the curse of the desert, and to rejuvenate the ancient Golden Kingdom! However, the desert journey is by no means easy. On this fiery battlefield, not only do we have to fight against Noah’s mummy legion and the giant monsters of the desert, but we also have to beware of powerful commanders from other warzones who are also coveting the treasures and glory of the desert! After the start of Season III, the profession level cap will be raised to Lv.100, unlocking more new skills and strategic choices. New soldiers, buildings, and desert-themed gameplay will also make their grand debut! The war drums of the Flame Sand Sea have already sounded, and the legend of the heroes is about to be written! Are you ready to accept this unprecedented challenge?

This is the mail you will receive on your account when Season 3 is available.

The mission

Across oceans, mountains, and through relentless desert storms, an ancient and forgotten kingdom is quietly awakening.

After his crushing defeat, Noah has hatched a new, dark plan. Leading the remnants of his Doom Legion, he has journeyed far to the Golden Realm and unearthed the legendary Monument of the Dead. This artifact, once a symbol of imperial might, holds the power to awaken unstoppable Protectors and was the ultimate weapon of conquest. After the fall of the Golden Realm, the monument was sealed inside the Great Pyramid, and its guardians fell into eternal slumber beneath the sands.

Now, Noah has unlocked the monument’s secrets and crowned himself as the new Golden Realm. With his army of Protectors awakened, he has unleashed raging sandstorms that consumed the realm.

But hope remains-Scarlett, who had been tracking Noah for some time, intercepted and stole the Monument at a critical moment. Though she couldn’t entirely negate Noah’s power, she has enabled us to summon Protectors. The fight for the Golden Realm’s future is about to unfold!

Notes:

  • Season buildings will disappear when the season ends.
  • Season resources will also disappear when the season ends.
  • Protectors will vanish after the season ends.
  • Prioritize learning Season Specializations within your profession for greater efficiency in the new season.

  • The Alliance Center, a new building similar to Alliance Furnace of Season 2, might have a primary role in this new Season… new Alliance officers will be unlocked
  • Mithril (similar to coal in S2) and Sacred Water (similar to titanium alloy in S2) are the new Seasonal resources that need to be gathered to be used for Seasonal buildings.
  • Multiple Seasonal buildings are available and need to be upgraded
    • Curse Research Lab
    • Blessing Fountain
    • Altar
    • Protector’s Field

The World and the map

The world changed again, the map is composed by 3 different types of buildings: cities, digging strongholds and trade posts.

At the beginning of the season you and your allies will find yourselves stranded at the edge of the server (but still all together as alliance hive), with no owned city. Cities must be re-conquered, but new rules apply…

Doom elite monsters are transformed into egyptian monsters, and most of the zombies need a high virus resistance to be killed.

The New Map

This is how the map looks like:

The map size is: 13 * 13 squares (even if they look like rectangles in the map below), each square is 75*75 “pixels” (your base size is 3*3).

Visitors

2 new types of visitors arrive in front of the wall every once in a while (the one on the left after a few hours, the one on the right once daily), and they distribute Mithril .

Golden Scarab

You will find golden Scarab going around in the map… Click on them and attack them to get rewards.
It looks like there are only Level 1 Golden Scarabs.

You can find scarabs:

  • killing world zombies
  • killing doom elites
  • using a trap landmine (random underground creatures can show up, not only scarabs)

The Golden Scarab is visible zooming out a bit in the map, you will see it move around, and once you engage in attacking it, it will stay still.

Radar Missions – Desert Ruins

A new type of radar mission arrives with Season 3.
It evolves in 2 parts:

  • A game of luck to find various rewards:
    • You found Desert Ruins
    • Collect the rewards or risk going deeper in the Ruins with the risk of losing all
  • If you hit a trap sometimes a mini-game with coin reward starts
    • Run to collect coins and avoid zombies, you have 30 seconds to escape the ruins and collect as many coins as you can

These new radar missions are really great because they can give you nice rewards, the best of which is Merit Medals season merit medal (the ones you use to purchase stuff in the season store) if you are lucky enough to complete arrive to latest stages and also if you choose the right chest. There is a video below in which the max rewards are won.

In this video I lose after some tries. And I experience the run mini-game afterwards

In this other video I complete all the stages and I win 5 merit medal at the end… I was really lucky

Once you reached Level 7 you can exit the Ruins choosing a chest

New Buildings

New types of buildings are available during season 3.

IMPORTANT: Seasonal buildings will disappear at the end of Season 3, so purchase items only if you are aware that they will help you only temporarely in Season 3.

Curse Research Lab

The Curse Research Lab allows you to enhance your resistance to curse, similarly to resistance to Virus, to defeat Elite zombie and Digging Stronghold protectors. To upgrade it you need Sacred Water . It can go up to max level 30.

Blessing Fountain

Blessing Fountains produce Sacred Water , they are similar to titanium alloy factory in Season 2. They can go up to max level 30.

Multiple Blessing Fountains are available. To unlock them level up the previous Blessing Fountain (they are named Blessing Fountain I / II / III / IV / V ). To level them up you need mithril , so refer to the article about the new resources in season 3 to know how to retrieve them.

Alliance Center

Go to Alliance button -> Alliance Center -> click on the coordinates to locate the Alliance Center in map.

Day 2 of Season 3 your alliance needs to construct the Alliance Center.

Once the Alliance Center is built, it produces spice/h and it provides buffs to all alliance members within its range. It also prevents members in alliance range from being knocked back by Giant Sandworms.

IMPORTANT: spice production values are being changed by devs, don’t use the images as reference for those values. Check the levels paragraph below for info on how to access that information.

The max durability of the Alliance Center has been changed multiple times, as of now it is 200,000.

Repair Alliance Center:

  • more squad enter the Alliance Center the faster it builds

You can see the range of the buffs applied by the Alliance Center if you zoom out a bit in the map.

Additional Features:

Once the Alliance Center is built you can see which levels unlock new features.

Mithril Plant

This building produces 34,560 Mithril/h and it is unlocked when the Alliance Center reaches level 5.

Production stops if the building is damaged. If destroyed, the alliance loses a corresponding percentage of spices.

Enter the Alliance Center page and click on the mithril you see on the Alliance Center construction as shown in the picture here to collect the produced mithril.

Exploratory Well

This building produces 600 Oil/h and it is unlocked when the Alliance Center reaches level 10.

Production stops if the building is damaged. If destroyed, the alliance loses a corresponding percentage of spices.

Enter the Alliance Center page and click on the oil you see on the Alliance Center construction as shown in the picture here to collect the produced oil.

Sacred Water Hut

This building produces 8640 Sacred Water/h and it is unlocked when the Alliance Center reaches level 15.

Production stops if the building is damaged. If destroyed, the alliance loses a corresponding percentage of spices.

Enter the Alliance Center page and click on the sacred water you see on the Alliance Center construction as shown in the picture here to collect the produced sacred water.

Obelisk

This building produces 6 Protector Horns/h and it is unlocked when the Alliance Center reaches level 20.

Production stops if the building is damaged. If destroyed, the alliance loses a corresponding percentage of spices.

Enter the Alliance Center page and click on the protector horn you see on the Alliance Center construction as shown in the picture here to collect the produced protector horn.

Levels

The level of the Alliance Center progresses automatically based on the accumulated Spice.

The info about levels and attributes can be found in the following Google Docs Spreadsheet: Link to document
Find out more tools for Season 3 in the Community page

Relocation

The Alliance Center can be relocated. To relocate it you need to build the relocation spot, similarly as done to built the initial Alliance Center. This is also similar to how relocating the Alliance Furnace was in Season 2.

IMPORTANT: Once you place a relocation spot for the Alliance Center, you cannot move it. You must complete its construction at that location. After it’s fully built, you can either move your Alliance Center to it, or it can be attacked and potentially destroyed by enemies.

When the relocation spot is first placed, it is protected while under construction. Once the build reaches 100%, that protection ends, and enemies can attack it.

  • If its durability drops to 0, the relocation spot is destroyed, and you can then create a new one elsewhere.
  • However, if it’s completed but damaged (i.e., durability is less than 100%), you cannot move your Alliance Center to it until it’s fully repaired.

Be cautious: if you don’t move your Alliance Center soon after completing the relocation spot, and enemies repeatedly attack it without destroying it, you could end up stuck—unable to use it or place a new one until it’s fully rebuilt.

New Farms – Alliance Resources

As shown in Season 1 and 2, after defeating Doom Elites, a new type of alliance resource farm/tile can temporarily appear randomly.
In Season 3, these farms can include sacred water, mithril and oil types. Up to 10 squads can gather in each Gathering Tile.

In Season 3, the game doesn’t state the probability of Alliance Resource Tiles appearing after killing monsters. In Season 2, it was 5%.

Here an example of new resource tiles

Cities

City capture follows City Clash S3 event schedule

Owned cities produce Spice that is fundamental to win Season 3, and the amount depends on the city level.

City Spice production per level:

  • Level 1: 100/h Spice
  • Level 2: 200/h Spice
  • Level 3: 300/h Spice
  • Level 4: 400/h Spice
  • Level 5: 500/h Spice
  • Level 6: 600/h Spice

Level 6 cities

There are 4 level 6 cities and this is their disposition

North West (upper left)

North East (upper right)

South West (bottom left)

South East (bottom right)

City capture limits

As we can see from Alliance Button -> Alliance City:

  • Daily City war declaration limit: 2
  • Max Captured Cities: 8
  • Daily Digging Stronghold captures: 2
  • Max Digging Stronghold captured: 8

Digging Strongholds

Digging Strongholds are locations on maps that allow to dig Mithril. They are similar to dig sites of Season 2.

They are protected by Mummy Guards and Golden Annihilators. The higher the level of the Digging Stronghold the stronger the protector.

With the latest game update digging strongholds produce Mithril/h based on their level:

  • Level 1: 100/h Mithril
  • Level 2: 120/h Mithril
  • Level 3: 140/h Mithril
  • Level 4: 160/h Mithril
  • Level 5: 180/h Mithril
  • Level 6: 200/h Mithril

Level 6:

There are 3 different types of Golden Beasts defending the Digging Strongholds, click on the i to see the detail:

  • Golden Defender is of type tanks
  • Golden Striker is of type aircraft
  • Golden Annihilator is of type missile

Digging Strongholds produce Mithril and you can collect it from Alliance button -> Alliance Cities -> Digging Strongholds -> Claim all:

Trade Posts

Trade Posts are located in specific locations on map, they are placed on the diagonals going towards the capitol and Trade Posts can be of different levels up to level 5.

Trade posts don’t equal to stronghold or cities. They can be occupied by individuals, and will unlock a market in which everyone can buy items. The owner of the trade posts can earn taxes.

There’s no need to control adjacent territory, and there’s no limit on the number of trade posts you can have. However, trade posts can be captured by others, so you need to be defend. Therefore, it’s usually difficult for one player to manage too many trade posts effectively.

Trade Posts Capture Rules

  • Trade Posts levels progressively unlock (The contest begin date is shown on each trade post):
    • Level 1: Sunday, day 7 of week 2 at 12:00 server time (this is the only capture in which other servers cannot come to capture trade posts on your server)
    • Level 2: Monday, day 1 of week 3 at 12:00 server time
    • Level 3: Tuesday, day 2 of week 3 at 12:00 server time
    • Level 4: Thursday, day 4 of week 3 at 12:00 server time
    • Level 5: Friday, day 5 of week 3 at 12:00 server time
  • IMPORTANT: Starting from day 1 of week 3 teleports among warzones of season grouping will be open and other warzones can come and capture Trade Posts on your warzone.
  • Once the contest to capture the Trade Post starts t lasts 1 hour
  • Troops stationed in the Trade Post will gradually increase capture progress over time.
  • Progress is tracked separately for you and your allies.
  • During the contest, the first commander to reach 100% progress wins the Trade Post. If no commander reaches 100% by the end of the contest, the commander with the highest progress takes the Trade Post if it has no Governor.
  • Your base must be in the contaminated land of the target Trade post to be able to attack it for capture
  • If the Trade Post already has a Governor, the current Governor retains control if no one reaches 100% by the end of the contest.
  • Once a Trade Post is captured the next contest to capture it again will be after 7 days.

Each Trade Post is an independent store, and commanders in the same game season group can purchase its items.

This is what the Trade Post looks like on map

This is a Trade Post before capture

Trade Posts Levels

As you can see from these images, the higher the level of the Trade Post the more items it has available.

All other parameters are the same, but the Governor Perk of increasing the protector limit progressively increases.

Trade Store

Once the Governor takes control of a Trade Post, the Trade Store opens and items are available for purchase (click on the Trade Post and then on the icon that appears below to access the Store).

The Governor can summon a Trade Caravan one time to restock items and enable purchases [I am trying to figure out the logic and cooldown for it, soon more info]

Unfortunately all those items you see are not for each commander, they are the total number of items available in the store and the policy is first come first serve. Additionally some items are reserved exclusively to the Governor.

The Exclusive offer can only be purchased by the Governor of the Trade Post. In fact clicking on it triggers this warning:

All the other items are available for purchase but, as you can see in the image, I was too late and no Trap Landmine refills were available

Tax

Diamonds spent at Trade Posts generated tax revenue. When all items sell out, or the Trade Post is abandoned by the Governor, the accumulated tax is sent to the Trade Post Governor as a Golden Egg, which can be shared in the chat.

Game action

There are a lot of new things you can do in the game in Season 3:

Like Cat base skin to get rewards

Find cat base skins and send them a like to immediately receive a rewards. There is a daily limit on likes you can give.

Check out the video on how to obtain the reward

Sandworm Crisis

Since the very moment Season 3 starts, Sandworms lurk under the sand, listening to every sound commanders make.

Sandworm Crisis event starts day 1 and lasts for 14 days.

  1. Sandworms will appear during the event. Hunt them to complete missions and earn rewards.
  2. When the troops of alliance members engage in battles, they create shock waves. When the progress bar fills, the last commander to trigger it will attract a sandworm to attack their base. Bases entangled by small sandworms can’t send out queues but can escape using teleport items, but the small sandworm will disappear, forfeiting rewards. (Only ongoing rally marches can continue)
  3. After a sandworm is defeated, the commander it targeted will receive a bonus discovery reward via mail.
  4. As the event continues, large sandworms will appear. Bases outside the alliance center will be knocked away when attracting large sandworms.
  5. Commanders who leave the alliance will no longer accumulate shock wave value.
  6. Even if not tracked on this even page, also Giant Sandworm appear, they get trapped by Trap Landmine

Small Sandworm

When commanders fight monsters on the map, shock waves are generated and small sandworms are attracted by them. When the progress bar fills, the last commander to trigger it will attract the sandworm that will entangle it.

The “Possible Loot” you see listed as rewards are dropped as chests on the map close to where the sandworm was killed.

Loots drops, there is a limit of 30 loots you can collect daily

Large Sandworm

Large Sandworms can be attacked with rallies and they are much stronger than small Sandworms.

The Discoverer’s Reward include Sandworm Scales

When Large Sandworm appears right below your base, your base gets knocked away in a distant location on the map.

If this happens you will see a message pop up alerting you of this event.

To avoid your base getting knocked away by sandworms consider remaining in the Alliance Territories because the Alliance Center will provide buffs in those areas that will protect you from sandworms.

Rewards

Fighting Sandworm generates additional rewards, daily and goal based.

Giant Sandworms

As if small and large sandworms weren’t enough, meet the Giant Sandworms.
Deploy Trap Landmines to catch Giant Sandworms and then kill them with the help of your alliance.

Trap Landmines are a seasonal skill that allows you to deploy a trap, and if the Giant Sandworms happens to lurk around and cross its path it gets caught and brought to the surface.

Check out the size of Giant Sandworms compared to a city. When Sandworms appear they cause the area to become deserted again, as you can see right around the city. If not killed the sandworm will disappear after 5 hours.

Alliance Center prevents members in alliance territories from being knocked back by Giant Sandworms.

Desert Protectors

Desert Protectors are a new type of soldier with enhanced abilities that are available in Season 3 starting from day 1 week 1 when the Ancient Tech – Protector’s field event is unlocked.
It has been confirmed that they don’t stand for the T11, so expect T11 to be available in the future.

This new type of soldier is a good addition to the game because it is not solely connected to how much you spend or on how much you train your soldiers, because you don’t train Desert Protectors, you convert them from the deads, and they are disposable, once you use them they disappear.

Protector’s Field

Once the Ancient Tech – Protector’s field event is unlocked you will be able to create the Desert Protector’s field right outside your base’s wall.

IMPORTANT: At the beginning of the Season bring the Protector’s Field only up to level 10 and not further, because starting from level 11 it requires Mithril and Sacred Water that are important for other seasonal buildings. Furthermore level 10 will already give you access to the full Desert Protectors’ features, so it not essential to level it up further in the first days.

The info about levels and attributes can be found in the following Google Docs Spreadsheet: Link to document
Find out more tools for Season 3 in the Community page

This seasonal field can be upgraded as any other building and it allows you to access the menu to manage the Desert Protectors.
If you go in map mode (switching from base view to map view), you can also access the Desert Protectors field through the dedicated icon right above truck/secret missions icons.

The Desert Protector’s icon will also give you a preview of how many soldiers of this type are immediately vailable.

Desert Protectors Skills

Protectors, blessed by the desert, have superior combat power. They’re stronger than units of the same level.

Each hero can carry Protectors equal to 1/10 of the number of units (Even with this limit, Protectors are stronger than soldiers at the same level).

Unlike regular units, Protectors who participate in battle will not return, they return to the desert, so use them wisely.
If they are deployed but don’t engage in combat, all Protectors will return.

Based on how many Desert Protectors are stationed in your Protector’s field progressive skills unlock.

Power of Adaptation (unlocks at 500 or more Protectors stationed in Protector’s Field)

Protectors have additional resistance to curses (+250) and enhanced Attack, Defense, and HP (+25%). This makes them perfect to attack enemies for which your current resistance to curse is not enough.

Troops carrying Protectors automatically receive activated buffs: Protectors gain additional curse resistance and stat boosts.

Death Shockwave (unlocks at 750 or more Protectors stationed in Protector’s Field)

In PvP battles, if a squad carrying Protectors is defeated, a portion of enemy units will be killed based on the levels and number of your Protectors that were killed.

Blue Flame Spell (unlocks at 1000 or more Protectors stationed in Protector’s Field)

If a squad carrying Protectors wins an attack on another commander’s base, it inflicts the Blue Flame Spell, engulfing the enemy base in inextinguishable blue flames for 1 hour.

Unlock additional powerful curse effects by mastering specialization skills!

Protector Rally (unlocks at 1250 or more Protectors stationed in Protector’s Field)

Enables Protector Rally!

Rally Restriction: Allies joining the rally must deploy squads carrying Protectors.

Rally Countdown: Protector Rallies have a 1-minute preparation time.

Leader Buff: All squads in the rally benefit from the leader’s active Protector enhancements.

Rapid March: Gain an additional 3x march speed boost when joining or deploying a Protector Rally.

Desert Protectors Conversion

In simple terms this is how you create Desert Protectors:

  • 10 % of units lost in the following cases will go to the Protector’s field conversion pool awaiting for conversion:
    • Battle casualties during Duel VS
    • Severely wounded units that don’t find space in the hospital when it is full
    • Drill Ground Breaches casualties
  • The amount of units lost that can wait in the conversion pool is unlimited.
  • Allies send Recon Plane to help you convert each unit
  • Converted units are sent to the Protector’s Field

If your base get’s breached the Desert Protectors in the Protectors’s Field will not be affected

Boost Protectors attributes with the Altar

The Altar is a new building specifically designed to boost Desert Protector’s attributes. Check out the Altar section for more info.

Build an Oasis

This event starts in correspondence of the opening of level 1 cities day 3 of week 1 and it lasts until the end of the season.

The silent desert holds the seeds of hope, and the oasis awaits bold commanders to restore its life.

Greenification Rules:

  1. Greenification Command: You can only greenify sand lands that are adjacent to existing greenified areas.
  2. Progressive Expansion: The available greenification range will increase as the event progresses.
  3. Greenification Progress: Once 80% of a region is greenified, it’s considered complete and contributes to the overall warzone progress.
  4. Desert Treasure: Greenified areas have a chance to reveal rare treasures (Desert Artifacts) . Each region contains a set amount of treasures.

Stages

Stage 1 (Weeks 1-4 of the Season):

  1. Greenification Range: Greenification unlocks only after a city is captured.
  2. Restricted Areas: Strongholds, Trade Posts, and the Capitol cannot be greenified during this stage.
  3. Greenification Start Point: Capturing a city will convert surrounding Contaminated Land into greenified areas, serving as the initial point for expansion.

Stage 2 (Weeks 5-7 of the Season):

  1. Greenification Expansion: Commanders can greenify regions starting from Level 1 and expand step-by-step to Cities, Strongholds, Trade Posts, and the Capitol.
  2. Unlocking Progress: Reaching 80% greenification progress in the current level unlocks the next level, leading up to Level 7 Capitol greenification.
  3. Cross-Warzone Greenification: Commanders can now greenify warzones freely across the 8 warzones within the same season group.

How to Greenify

Greenifying is quite simple, you click on the map in a valid tile and send the Recon Plane to greenify it.

The base rule is that you can only greenify tiles that are adjacent to a tile that is already green: when a city is captured the land surrounding the city becomes green allowing you to start the greenification process in that area. Progressively other zones open based on the stages described in previous paragraphs

Season Passes

During Season 3 you have access to multiple passes that will help you throughout the season and to power up your heroes. They are similar to Season 1/2 passes.

Season Battle Pass

The Season Battle Pass lasts 48 days and it gives you lots of goods that you absolutely need in this new Season 3 to start with an advantage.

The Season Battle Pass is structured in 3 sections:

  • Freebie
    (1st item column in Rewards)
  • Game Advanced ~11,99 €
(2nd and 3rd item columns in Rewards)
  • Game Season Luxury ~23,99 €
(4th and 5th item columns in Rewards)

One of the most important item is mithril.

IMPORTANT PURCHASE LOGIC:

  • Purchasing the Game Season Luxury pass will NOT automatically give you also the Game Season Advanced items, as they are seen as 2 different purchases to do. So if you want the items of both Advanced and Luxury columns you need to buy ~11,99 € + ~23,99 €.
  • By purchasing either the Advanced or the Premium pass, you unlock double rewards for daily tasks.
In fact, once you completed a daily task activity, you can collect the rewards clicking on “Claim” and afterwards, you will also be able to click on “Claim more” to receive those rewards again.
So for maximum benefits, purchase passes on the first day they’re available; otherwise, you’ll miss out on double Daily Tasks rewards that in this case are Combat Readiness Points that unlock the items you need.

To see all the details check out this video in which you can see:

  • The list of points and rewards
  • Daily missions
  • Target missions
  • Rewards for advanced/luxury pass

Desert Blessing – Boosts

This season brings a new set of boosts for those that have the following base skin, decorations and heroes

IMPORTANT: the Eternal Pyramid listed in boosts is the decoration and NOT the base skin. By the way the base skin that looks like a pyramid is actually called “Dominance Sanctuary” and you can find it in the Season Store. The only base skin that gives buff in this season is the cat “Meow-lody”

Season 3 Quests

The Quests section quests (icon above Heroes button) gets enhanced with newly added season main and secondary Tasks.

This addition is quite important because the main rewards are sacred water and mithril.

The logic is the same as the daily quest missions you are used to since the beginning of the game.

Below an example of current tasks:

Season Alliance Milestones

Season 3 re-introduces milestones, as the ones we saw at each Season.

You can access the Milestones and claim rewards going to “Alliance” button -> Season Milestones.

Here we can find some hints of what is going to happen in the Season.

Season 3 Rewards

Season Rewards are of 2 types:

  • Alliance rewards, that are based on tiers based on conditions met at Season’s end. The reward tier remains fixed after settlment.
  • Faction rewards

Alliance Rewards

There are 8 tiers of rewards and the conditions are still to be announced.

Once you meet the condition of a tier you will see the corresponding trophy with a ribbon like the following image. The rewards are based on the conditions met at the end of the season.

Tier 1

Tier 2

Tier 3

Tier 4

Tier 5

Tier 6

Tier 7

Tier 8

Faction Rewards

Season 3 is also centered around factions, with rewards for both the winning and losing sides.

Season 3 Store

The Season 3 store is the same as Season 2 store with the addition of Glacial Palace

Before you upgrade any SSR hero to UR hero, reconsider is it worth. Here is example based on my Violet during season 2.

She was 5* and lvl 42 wall of honor when UR upgrade became active. When you upgrade her to UR she is going back to 3*.
    – no shards used to bring Violet to 5* will be refunded.
    – only shards used on wall of honor will be refunded

Now I will lose 800 shard just for upgrading her. I will get back 420 shard from wall of honor. With all Violet shards collected over the past events i will have 1392 shards in total. She will not be 5* because you need 1600 shards and I lose wall of honor bonus. Not sure is it worth.

    • cristian

It is true that you need many more shards to upgrade her, but the base attributes are now different and higher than she had before. So you don’t need to reach the same level you had before for her to have the same power. The disadvantage for sure is that she gets removed from the wall of honor and so the attribute increase on all other heroes is lost.
It is a great way to do a lot of duel VS points during hero day.

      • Lehuga #378

violet shards always available on the alliance store just like mason, and you buy cheaply
Now she has more power than before
I’ve upgraded her already to five stars

      • Anonymous

Is there any information about server mergers? or server transfer? I don’t know exactly what it’s called. However, I heard something like this. Is this possible?

        • cristian

Server transfers are already happening, they happen at the end of each season. It’s still a pretty new feature so it is evolving. As far as I know server merges will not happen, at least for now.

    • Nev

Definitely second this. I chose not to convert Violet to UR as she was nerfed by devs, whether she is UR or SSR she was deemed useless. So I saved the trouble to having to withdraw all SSR shards from wall of honour and make her five stars again. I kept her as SSR and just kept pumping Violet specific shards into wall of honour for buffs. SSR to UR heroes are never going to be a match to the OG UR heroes – unless you are pure F2P or the converted UR heroes have some beneficial skills for other purposes, dont bother to convert them to UR.

      • Thomas

That’s a huge mistake now you won’t be able to upgrade her full any hero in UR is going to be way stronger once updated there is no situation where not upgrading the to UR is a good move

      • Pizza n Beer

Also remember, yes it costs twice as much to promote her on the wall, but 2 things to consider… when you do get her to 50… its double the boost to your tanks. Instead of .25 it’s .50. Also, she at 5 star is doing more damage than murphy with lvl10 exclusive weapon to the world boss or atleast that’s what I’m am seeing.

  2. Lehuga #378

Thank god, I’ve read this before we’re coming to season 2 celebration
I have only 40 all hero return tickets
Going to spend it but holding myself until now, but it’s like I’m gonna hold it until season 2 celebration

    • cristian

Please consider that some of these tips are based on assumptions of previous Seasons, I am not 100% sure of some of them… but it’s a good compromise to keep some of those hero return tickets in my opinion.

      • Anonymous

Another thing that some of the bigs in my alliance realized…. they were on war profession from season 1 but we’re not gaining speed on building season buildings…. then they realized that they should switch to engineer profession atleast at the beginning so they could get buildings built faster

        • cristian

That’s a good point. I took that for granted that at the beginning of the season people choose engineer.

  3. Christian

Regarding “Veterans Craftsman”, in the German translation of the description it clearly states that also season specific resources are included in the reduction.

    • cristian

Thanks, devs are updating the descriptions but it might be that not on all servers the update arrived 🙂

  4. Catguy

i hope before we get to try season 3 dev already consider things that happened in season 2 such as better matchmaking for each server that participated, strong against strong, mid against mid and weak against weak
i’m sure everyone up to challenge especially if our opponent have similiar power with us
let us enjoy the content of this game without being annoyed to know that we can never win against our enemy

    • cristian

We will know soon I guess 🙂

  5. Helmut

Gibt es eine Info, wann die s3 auf welchen Servern beginnt? Bzw wann diese Vorwoche beginnt.

    • cristian

On server #22 there was no prior notice of Season 3 pre-season events starting, so when I went on the game after reset the Season 3 pre-season icon just appeared. We still don’t know when S3 will be available on other servers, I guess it will take at least 2-3 weeks based on how things go on early servers.

      • bv3r

Hey there! Which day appears on your storyline book? We are on day 57th of S2, and that could give a heads-up for other servers 😉 Cheers

        • cristian

The last thing in storybook is Day 57 of S2 with Age of Oil, I think they didn’t update it yet

  6. Sir

How much power needs your main troop for S3? For the special defenders and giant worms? On S2 there was a cap of getting to hit the last defender if you were less than 30M power or so.

    • cristian

Devs are constantly changing those powers, so I can’t give you a number.

      • Sir

Hopefully not 40M hehe but it looks like is going to be something like it. Thanks for the guide is my point of reference for all seasons!!

        • cristian

I am happy it helps 🙂

  7. Colvin

Is there anything new/different about treasure map chests?

    • cristian

      No change in those rewards.

  8. Cristian

Your link for Digging Strongholds in the summary table at the top is a link to edit the WordPress post, might want to update it 😊

    • cristian

Thanks, I will fix it immediately

  9. Anonymous

hi Cristian, appreciate all the time and effort you`re putting into this 🙂
question about factions: how are warzones divided into factions please?

  10. Anonymous

This has not yet been implemented on my server. Which servers does it cover? And what is the transfer limit?

    • cristian

Seasons are progressive, it takes time to hit newest servers.

  11. Rialeuf

Hey, i just have 1 question about the start of S3. At first you say that we should have an icon with a 14 days countdown for pre season events but then all the screenshots show about 7 days countdowns. Just wondering if the pre season lasts 7 or 14 days.

  12. Ericusso

Quindi bazaar rimane aperto fino all’ultimo giorno della stagione, settimana 8 compresa.

  13. Yogesh

What we will get at the end of left resources of the season like I have left 1m mitherla what I will get

  14. ccc

During spice wars, as defender, can you use the relocation spot and not build it completely (created from using 1000 spice to relocate alliance center) to block space during war?

    • cristian

Yes but be careful, once the relocation spot start building even with 0 reinforcing it keeps building. And if you build the relocation spot completely it become attackable, and if enemies destroy it the whole area becomes empty

  15. Catalin

Salut.mai urmează ceva după sezonul 3? Sau se termină jocul?

    • cristian

There is never a game over. There will always be new seasons, devs are creating them right now

  16. nico

salut, en pleine saison 3, saurais tu me dire quelle est la meilleure stratégie pour defendre le centre d’alliance, (branches, centre) avec t1, t2 etc
merci d’avance et super boulot, bravo à toi

    • cristian

Hi, thanks. There is not one specific strategy that always works. The most important thing is always to keep your enemies far from the alliance center and to make sure that the 2 days before the war everyone sets a shield and defenses on wall to avoid being teleported away by enemies creating new accounts on your server and attacking your bases. Also be aware that the skill Summon Mummies can be used against you, so learn how to protect your bases from it https://www.lastwartutorial.com/season-3-professions/#summon-mummies
