Week 1
There are 6 main missions in the first week, they unlock at different times.
All missions share the fact that they have:
- a reward chest goal, that is an activity performed by the whole warzone to accumulate points to unlock the reward chest. Once this goal is completed the mission goal is unlocked (unless specified otherwise)
- a mission goal that is the expected outcome and progression in the game (some of them are paired with a season event of the season)

Week1-01: Ancient Tech – Protector’s field

This mission will start day 1 of Week1
Both reward chest and mission goals are immediately available.
Mission goal
Once the donation progress bar is filled you will be able to build the Protector’s Field that is right outside the wall of your your base. Usually the donation progress bar gets filled easily within the first day.
The Protector’s field is a Drill Ground for the new special seasonal soldiers: Desert Protectors
IMPORTANT: At the beginning of the Season bring the Protector’s Field only up to level 10 and not further, because starting from level 11 it requires Mithril and Sacred Water
that are important for other seasonal buildings. Furthermore level 10 will already give you access to the full Desert Protectors’ features, so it not essential to level it up further in the first days.
Read more about it in the Desert Protectors section.
The info about levels and attributes can be found in the following Google Docs Spreadsheet: Link to document

City Clash S3
With this event the capture of cities within your own warzone starts.
This event is structured to last until all city levels unlock.
Each time a new level needs to be unlocked there will be a countdown for it on this event page.
The event starts day 3 at 12:00 p.m. server time.

Rules:
- Once the territory is connected to the City (including diagonally), R5/R4 members of the Alliance can declare war on the City.
- After the declaration, Cities can be captured. Only one City can be targeted by each Alliance at a time.
- Without Digging Strongholds or Cities, an Alliance must first capture a Lv. 1 Digging Stronghold. Connected territories allow further declarations.
- Troops will be affected by curses during sieges. Please increase troop Curse Resistance to reduce impact.
- Siege battles are risky, with a portion of units dying directly. The specific ratio is detailed on Cities.
- There will be first-time City capture rewards for participants. Alliance members will also receive City rewards. Alliances receive Loot chests as well, distributed by R5 or R4.
- After capturing a City, all Alliance members get buffs. The City enters a protected state for a period, during which it can’t be declared war upon by others.
- When a city is captured by another Alliance, it also enters a protection period(~ 6 days). Abandoning a city does not reset the protection countdown.
- After declaring war on a city you’ve abandoned, there’s a waiting period (~ 5 days)
City Level unlock timing:
- Level 1: week 1 day 3 + 12 hours
- Level 2: week 1 day 6 + 12 hours
- Level 3: week 2 day 3 + 12 hours
- Level 4: week 2 day 6 + 12 hours
- Level 5: week 3 day 3 + 12 hours
- Level 6: week 3 day 6 + 12 hours
- Level 7: week 4 day 7 + 12 hours

Hi Cris – this looks to be strictly captured within a server. Is that right or can alliances go to additional servers to capture territory?
Up until now there is no cross-server capture for cities/digging strongholds. The only cross-server capture in S3 I am aware of are Trade Posts but that can happen only starting from week 3.
Hola, los puestos comerciales deben estar adjuntas a las ciudades para que se puedan capturar?
Hi, no there is no such requirement for the Trade posts. Check out more info here: https://www.lastwartutorial.com/season-3-golden-kingdom/#trade-posts-capture-rules
How do the rules in city clash season 3 work given the following scenario? Alliance “A” declares war on City “A” and starts the siege. Alliance “B” declares war city on City “B” bordering the Alliance A territory. Can Alliance “A” start participate in the siege of City “B” at the same time as City “A” because another alliance started the war? Or, does Alliance “A” have to finish the siege of City “A” before moving to City “B”? Assumptions: both cities are neutral territory.
You can declare war to only one city at a time rules state, so Alliance A should finish first the siege on city A. If I am not wrong you could cancel war declaration and declare war on the other city, but of course you are giving up the siege on city A
Hi Cris! Thanks as always – quick and silly question – does holding the Capitol (Great Pyramid) count towards the 8 city limit?
Thanks so much!
Hi, no the capitol does not count as city for the limit.
