Preparation before the Season starts
There are some things that can be done even before the Season starts, they apply more or less to all seasons.
- There are going to be seasonal buildings that need to be leveled up, therefore skills and technologies that lower construction costs and increase construction speed are really important. Get ready making sure that you have already maxed technologies to enhance these buffs.
- Hero return tickets
provide seasonal resources among their rewards, so you should spare them at the end of the previous season, they will be stored in the inventory in off-season periods. At the very start of the season, when seasonal resources are scarse, you can open all the tickets hoping for a huge seasonal resource drop. Once you are at a good pace in this season you should start saving the hero return tickets for the next season. - In Season 6 an additional SSR hero can be promoted to UR: it is Braz. So purple shards
are important items to purchase to be able to bring Braz to 5 ⭐, promote him to UR hero and further promote him in the Wall of Honor. Remember that hero promotion is also a good way to score a huge amount of Duel VS points. - In Season 6 the Mushroom skin base, it’s actual name is Enchanted Fungus, will have some interesting buffs and if you have that skin you should activate or consider purchasing it.
- A lot of stamina is needed to kill world zombies and to participate to new seasonal game-plays, so spare some for the Season.
Season Store
Here a few important points you should take into consideration before using your Season medals:
- The Season Store NEVER closes, it will always be available, even during off-season, so don’t rush to use season medals and make smart decisions
- The Season Store resets the availability of the items at each Season start. So for example if you need Mythic Gear Blueprints, make sure you purchase all those available before the new Season starts
At the end of Season 5 a new base skin will be shown in the Season Store, but it will not be available until Season 6 starts. Below the images available already at week 8 of Season 5. Check out here the updated Season Store of Season 6.

Alliance technologies to prioritize
Ask your R4/5 to give priority to alliance tech “Veteran Craftsman” to have a lower building cost for seasonal buildings also regarding seasonal resources. The buff applies also to Oil and seasonal resources.

It’s also important to ensure that you have the full building speed increase through the Alliance Tech “Quick Construction”, but I would expect all alliances to already have it maxed out at Season 6.

Skills to acquire
At the beginning of a Season, given that usually there are no wars in that stage, it is highly suggested to use Engineer instead of War Leader. This also allows you to take advantage of some specific skills to lower costs and increase building and research speed.
These are the MUST have in my opinion to push your growth at the season beginning.
You should have these skills maxed out since the very beginning of the season, and you should also prepare to have them available right away when the season starts, without having to wait for their cooldowns.

First days: tips on how to gather seasonal resource
This section will be reviewed the first day of Season 6 of early server
The first days of Season 6 is a struggle because of Rainforest mushroom
shortage and low virus resistance, all these activities will help you to grow faster.
Generic suggestions:
- use war fever for all the activities that use attack to increment by 1% the power (not possible at the very beginning with everyone having a shield)
- rallies: the virus resistance of the leader of the rally is applied to all participants, use this for strongholds captures.
- low virus resistance ally can request help to high virus resistance allies to kill higher level of doom elites for first kill rewards: low virus resistance ally starts rally with 1 low power hero squad and high virus resistance allies join to kill doom elite.
Purchases:
- buy right away Season Battle Pass and Weekly Pass (this one will be available only once Spore Factories are unlocked)
- purchase Rainforest Mushroom Packs, they are available since the very beginning of the season but only the first 5 days and even if it says the availability is 1, actually you can purchase multiple packs, but each pack progressively doubles in cost and in spore amount (~ 5/10/20/50 $)
- if possible acquire decoration “Rock the end” as it gives boost as described in Season 6 -> Season Boost
- if you want you can also purchase the Enchanted Fungus available in the Season 6 Cosmetics Store at discounted price
Spore and Rainforest Mushroom:
- arrive to Season 6 start with the radar with stacked missions, so to be sure to get immediately missions with Rainforest Mushroom rewards
- IMPORTANT: In season 6, as in previous Seasons, there are no Alliance Resource Tiles of seasonal resources, so no more tricks centralizing all the resource in a single resistance leader unfortunately.
- don’t do a Doom Walker after reset the day your server receives Season 6. Wait for Season 6 to start and then kill a Doom Walker. Even a level 100 will suffice because it will give you already the maximum amount of Rainforest Mushroom available for a Doom Walker first kill. Do that every day, level 100 can reward you with 200k Rainforest Mushroom daily.
- upgrade all Spore Workshops only up to level 15 until you unlocked all of them (4 + 1 additional with weekly pass), then first all to level 16, then all to level 17, etc. Each time you reach level 15 of a Spore workshop the next one is unlocked.
- start killing immediately small zombies up to the level that doesn’t require curse resistance, you will obtain first kill rewards. Take into consideration that small zombies have a type (tank/missile/aircraft) and so dealt damage debuffs apply
- kill doom elites to get first kill purchases. If your virus resistance is low you can ask your alliance members to help you out with the rally.

Frequently Asked Questions
1. How do I prepare for Last War Season 6?
Answer: Use the last week of Season 5 to max construction‑speed and cost‑reduction tech, stock stamina, save Hero Return tickets, and buy purple shards for Braz. This lets you rush seasonal buildings and gain Duel VS points on day one.
Learn more about pre-season preparation steps
2. When should I open Hero Return tickets?
Answer: Save Hero Return tickets during off-season and late Season 5. Open them right after Season 6 starts, when Rainforest Mushrooms are rare, to spike seasonal resources for early buildings, then start hoarding again for the next season cycle.

3. How should I spend Season Store medals?
Answer: The Season Store never closes and resets stock each season, so don’t rush. Before a new season, buy all Mythic Gear Blueprints and high-impact skins, and skip low-value items you can farm elsewhere to maximize long-term power per medal.

4. Which alliance techs matter most for Season 6?
Answer: Ask R4/R5 to prioritize “Veteran Craftsman” to cut seasonal building costs in Mushrooms and Oil, and ensure “Quick Construction” is maxed for build speed. These two techs massively reduce the time and resources needed for Spore Workshops.

5. Which Engineer skills for Last War Season 6 start?
Answer: Switch to Engineer while the map is peaceful. Have construction and research skills at levels 10, 15, 30, 35, and 95 maxed and off cooldown so you can chain cost‑reduction and speed buffs when rushing early seasonal buildings and tech.

6. How to get Rainforest Mushrooms fast in Last War?
Answer: Stack radar missions before Season 6, then claim Mushroom ones at launch. Buy Season and weekly passes, grab week‑1 Mushroom packs, kill the highest Doom Walker you can daily, and rush stronghold captures for hourly alliance Mushroom income.

7. How do Doom Walkers give Mushrooms in Season 6?
Answer: Skip your usual Doom Walker on the reset when Season 6 is about to start. After it begins, kill the highest level you can once per day to trigger big first‑kill Mushroom rewards; higher levels don’t add extra Mushrooms beyond that first clear.

8. What is the best Spore Workshop upgrade order?
Answer: Push each Spore Workshop to level 15 first to unlock all four, then unlock the fifth via weekly pass. After that, level them evenly (all 16, then 17, etc.) so every Mushroom spent increases total Spore output instead of overinvesting in one.

9. How do strongholds generate Mushrooms for my alliance?
Answer: Capture strongholds as early as possible in Season 6. They passively produce hourly Rainforest Mushrooms for every member. To actually receive them, go Alliance → Alliance Cities → Strongholds and tap “Claim all hourly” so nothing is wasted.
See stronghold capture and claiming details
10. Why no seasonal resources on Last War alliance tiles?
Answer: Season 6 removes alliance seasonal resource tiles, so you can’t funnel Mushrooms into one resistance leader. Instead, rely on Spore Workshops, Doom Walker first kills, strongholds, radar missions, and Mushroom packs for your seasonal economy.
